It’s a first round matchup of the College Insider Tournament down in the Tar Heel State. The Houston Baptist Huskies travel to face the Campbell Fighting Camels Tuesday night. Houston Baptist had their nine game win streak snapped with a 63-59 loss to Sam Houston State in the second round of the Southland Conference tournament Thursday night. Campbell had won four straight before falling 76-59 to Winthrop in the Big South tournament title game last Sunday. The teams have met twice previously, splitting a pair of meetings with each winning at home in 2011. Houston Baptist took an 87-76 win at home in the last matchup December 14, 2011.

The Fighting Camels allowed Winthrop to shoot 45.1 percent overall and 10 of 26 from three point range. Chris Clemons led Campbell with 29 points in the loss.
The Fighting Camels are a below average offensive unit as they are 228th in the nation with 71.1 points per contest. Campbell is 311th in the nation in rebounding with 32.8 rebounds a game and 303rd in assists with 11.4 per contest.
