I know Tom Izzo is a great tournament coach and you can never count out the Michigan State Spartans this time of year, but I’m counting them out. MSU hasn’t played a single stretch of consistent ball this season and lacks the depth of normal Spartans teams. Jim Larrañaga is a great coach in his ownright, and he has an experienced and deep basketball team that’s proven and battle tested out of the ACC. Miami is a team that can make a serious run and is capable of winning with offense or defense. The Hurricanes and this low line may be one of the best bets of the first round.
